Windshield Washer fluid spraying inside my engine compartment

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I bought my car (2004 Cavalier), I was checking all the fluids and
noticed windshield washer fluid was empty. I pour a little in and try
spraying it.... and nothing comes out.... from the nozzle at least. I opened
the hood and saw that my entire engine compartment was soaked
because the fluid had squirted out of a little hole in the cap. It was
pressurized. How can I fix this issue?

I'm not sure but I feel like it's probably a clog in the line or the sprayer. Can anyone confirm this?

Figured out that this is caused by my hose becoming disconnected from the resovoir
