I have a 04 chevy cavalier and check engine light code is 0442 which is evap purge conrol valve. Where is that located?

It looks like it may run you about $30. Easy to install.

You may also want to check your gas cap for a tight fit. This is a generic code for a leak detected in the EVAP system. Could be anywhere: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0442

Chevy cavalier 2004. Replaced gasoline cap. Light is off. 112,000 miles. Old gasoline cap was never changed and it was actually old and loose. Glad I replaced it after 15 yrs of use.
