HELP!!!!

HELP!!!!! Just had my transmission rebuilt on my 04
chevy Colorado 4x4. and it's already acting weird.
When I first start driving it and it's cold,it runs great.
But I've noticed that the temperature is rising above
a quarter and once it does,the transmission starts
acting weird. I'll be going 70mph at2,500 rpms,and
all of a sudden the truck downshifts a gear,raising
the rpms to 3500,and stays there. It doesn't shift
back to the higher gear. The temp then rises to
almost half. After I get off the freeway,and come to
a stop,then go again,it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd.
Any ideas would be amazingly helpful!!!

Take it back! That is what warranties are for. Keep on top of them and don't let them blow you off until the warranty runs out. Based on your information I think the trans has a serious problem.
