04 Chevy Colorado shakes / vibrates while in idol, whats the problem?

eMy 04 Chevy Colorado 4x4 Z71 LS with 199,000 miles has a issue when it
comes to idling. It feels like a pulsating vibration throughout the entire truck.
while in park or neutral the truck barely vibrates at all, but when in drive or
reverse the truck begins vibrating. It vibrates to the point where the dip stick
hits the hood of the truck. I have been told to clean the throttle body because
a sensor might be getting a bad reading which could be causing it to over
work something, honestly I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I just bought an 06 Colorado in August with the same problem. The shaking you feel is from a cylinder misfiring. Have the codes read at a parts store and change the coils to those that are misfiring. While you are in there, change the spark plugs for all five cylinders too.
