My 2004 Chevy impala heat is not working
properly.... when it does come on it blows fine but
if I hit a bump it goes out and sometimes it comes
back on and some time it takes days for it to work
again. Why is it doing this???

Hi I had similar issues. I think for sure the blower motor. And possible resistor maybe needed as well. My motor cut on and off as well when hitting bumps but eventually never came back on. Hope may help.
It's a loose plug on the blower motor try smacking on the blower box under the passenger side of the dash just below the glove box if it comes back on it's a loose plug on the motor if it dosen't come back on it's probably the fan speed switch..hope this helps..... mine did the same thing it was the plug on the motor......info from B&M Dean
