This is a good site that will help with your question. http://repairpal.com/estimator
The cost refers to the factory time and parts. as far as your price? you find that by looking it up and comparing prices in your area, some places, it costs more to do business, and that affects the estimate for those shops, types of shops, or that one shop. Labor is offered at the library to look up, but then depens on diagnosis time and part(s) found to be tha cause added to the book time. Then multiplied by the shop's rate. you must "call around" and compare. remember, higher quality parts and people adds up to a higher price, but gets fixed more readily without repeat repairs or lame excuses..... communicate, find the people you want.
