module/ resistor for a 2004 Chevy Malibu
is automatic or manual how do you know
which it is

If you have automatic climate controls in the dash. Meaning you can set a desired temp and the system keeps it there. Or the manual system that just has a knob or slider that goes from hot to cold

if its a manual there will be a knob , most blowers have three speeds you would have to change speeds yourself ,useing knob , automatic would turn on off and regulate speed by itself to keep chosen temp
