Honda fit idle pulley

I bought a 2007 Honda fit and just realized that it
didn't come idle pulley. I'm been using it for a
month and it works perfect.
My question is. Does it really needs the idle pulley?

Look for a belt diagram under the hood. Chances are things are as they should be.
