overheating losing coolant
My 2004 suburban overheated all of a sudden the other day while in traffic on
a hot long drive and went into limp mode. When I pulled over at a station, there
was coolant dripping down from the tray that runs along under the radiator.
didn't seem to be just coming from one spot. I let it cool and topped off the
fluid. The truck drove fine for the remaining 3-hour drive and didn't show any
additional leakage on the ground when I pulled over to stop for gas about
halfway through. The next morning, however, the reservoir was low again but
there was no puddle. Exhaust doesn't blow white and doesn't smell like
coolant so I don't think there is a head gasket issue. Any thoughts?
