How do I figure out exactly which engine wiring harness I need to order?

I'm trying to find out how I can purchase the correct wiring harness for my
C280

My VIN number is WDB2020281F177983

I do not have the original tag for the the wiring harness, so can't be sure
what it was.

It was originally registered new in Sweden 1995, can you help me figure out
what the part number is that I need?

Contact a Mercedes dealership parts department and they probably can help you.

Thank you Bob. I'm living on a small spanish island in the atlantic ocean. so far I have not been able to find a dealer who can help me. But thanks for the advice.

Lol, that makes it a bit of a tough task. I would keep trying dealers as someone just looking at this 20+ year old part and giving you a part number likely will not happen. Have you tried contacting Mercedes directly?
