Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 1998 Mercedes C280 and two days ago I have a problem with turn signal. The turn signal won't turn off even the signal stick is at off position. Once I turn it left, the left signal light stays on blinking no matter what I do. Can anyone give me any suggestion to fix the problem. Thank you so much in advance.
