2004 chevy trealblazer

my boyfriend truend off the SUV and about 10 min later comes to start the SUV
again, and now it will not start . it is acting and sounds like it is going to start,
but it wont.
what could be rong?

.Make sure the battery has a full charge. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes? Those are the basic checks, in my opinion. If your missing spark--fuel or whatever, you check that system, first.
