Can I swap of 2004 motor out of a trailblazer LT into a 2006 trailblazer LXT

Can I take a good motor out of a 2004 LT Chevrolet
4.2 L and put it in a 2006 Chevrolet XLT motor ?
Both are real wheel drive.

Starting in 06 changes were made, the differences between the 2 years is probably not worth the swap. 06 added an MAP, swapped the location of the temp sensor to the other side of engine way in the back, and a few other differences. Anything can be done....but at a cost.
