Car not going into gear

Asked by Alexis Aug 11, 2024 at 10:05 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Chevy trailblazer I have replaced the
engine, ignition switch, ignition cylinder, steering
wheel theft deterrent lock, oil pressure senser, the
temperature senser, and the transmission was new
when I bought the car (which was less than a year
ago) yet my car now has the security feature on
but today the car started throwing up fumes and a
liquid from the bottom and threw the check engine
light on and did not want to go in reverse, any
suggestions of what it could be? (Car just came
back from the mechanic last night)

Sounds like someone messed up. Take it back to where it was worked on.

The new tranny may have a problem from when it was rebuilt . Lots of little details and variations from gm
