Can someone help me fix my husband's mess up with my ac?

So my husband added freon to my 2004 Chevy trailblazer
and immediately after doing so my car start trying to stall
when my ac is on mind you it did not do this before hand it
just was not that cool I have no lights on my dashboard and
i have no codes when I check the computer how do I fix it

Candice, this may be a simple fix here. Did the hubby disconnect the battery at all during this process?
