When was your oil last changed? That inline 6 cylinder could have some sludge buildup in it. 50-60 is normal, my dads 03 sierra is at 60 and so is my step moms 01 blazer.
I'm having same issue. Did you ever figure out the issue? I just had my oil changed and it still does it.
Heavier oil which oil thickens the colder it is, bad sensor or wire to the sensor, sludge build-up
Mine was doing the same thing took it in today or oil sending unit
Put five w 30 in it and change it on a 5 to 6 month changes
The oil pressure gauge does not tell you an accurate oil pressure. It is actually an estimated oil pressure based off your engine speed. The gauge will only tell you whether it is under 4 psi. https://youtu.be/Jdu1kLoLDJU
