the cruise control on my 1994 e320 works sometimes and not others... and is getting worse

I have a 1994 mercedes e320.  The cruise control only engages sometimes and the problem is getting worse.

you probably have a problem with your electronic accelerator. Its located downstream of the airtube that runs across the top of the engine. Its easy to change once the air tube is off, but its rather expensive from MB. Try a scrap yard.
