Key fob not working. Whst could be the cause?

Car sitting need repair. Keeps
stalling. Will occasionally go out and
start but haven't in a coupla weeks.

Try the cheapest things first, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, hope this helps

How about replace the battery in the key fob since that seems to be the issue. Battery should only be a bucks, and you tube has videos on how to change the battery in the key.
