I just bought an s430 and the car doesn't start but it shows the dash lights and radio and a/c come on. I changed the starter because that's what I thought it was. Also, my suspension is low

Am having same problem - sometimes starts, sometimes not - when not an indicator comes on saying Display / EPS It's not the battery. Thought maybe the key was the problem (a key went dead some years ago for me) so I bought a new one - same issue - repair shop is thinking I need a new, $1200 ignition device (the female side of the key system) Just another problem with my S class yr 2000 lemon

This happened to mine. S430. The key fob had gotten wet. The key guy blew it out and dried it. It started the car. But my key fob now will not unlock or lock my doors. And will not set my alarm. Was told I have to get a new fob and reprogram it.
