Have the gas tank flushed or replaced. Have everything fuel related flushed or replaced. If it's been sitting in a field you might just need an exterminator. Get a new battery. Change all fluids. Oil. Transmission. Coolant. Even the brake fluid. The brake rotors will need to be replaced most likely. The tires are most likely dry rotted. BTW what model is it?
Wow! What a great car! I love a big Mercedes sedan. Have a competent mechanic get it up and running for you and enjoy!
It's an 2004 S500, less then 40,000 miles, sat in garage covered for (6) yrs. II've siphoned out the gas I replaced the battery I'm going to be replacing the fuel filter tomorrow I've checked fuses and all fluid levels they seems ok. I hope this works, is ther anything else Inshould do to get my car back on the road.
