Shudder when shifting into overdrive

My truck shudders really bad when it shifts into overdrive
when I'm accelerating somewhat hard as in entering
highway. Once it gets into overdrive it stops shuddering and
does not shudder during normal in town driving. When I get
on to the highway I have to let off the gas right before it
shifts into overdrive to make it not rock the truck as hard.
