03 Blazer leaking coolant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have an 03 Blazer with a brand new radiator.
It has been running fine as far as that goes until
last night where it overheated and started
smoking. I found coolant sprayed over the
undercarriage and when I went to add more
coolant in, the radiator isn't holding fluid and is
leaking from somewhere either down low, or
around the back of the engine. If it's just a hose
then it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

Radiator hose,s are not to bad,but heater hose,s that are behind engine are a little tuff, but not to bad,...Good luck with it.
At this point I'm hoping it's just a hose. That car is Murphy's law.
First, did you change hoses when you put in the new radiator? How long ago was the "new" radiator p;ut in? Could the hoses have gone bad if their not new or new? Check the connections before doing anything. Use a tissue to wipe the hose connections t see if they pick up any moisture. Start at the forward p;oint of the coolant spray and work from there back to find the leak. Is it around your water pump? There is a weep hole on the water pump that will leak coolant if the bearings are not keeping a seal, and if they really go bad, it will leak like a sieve. Why was the radiator changed out? Losing coolant? Sure it was not the water pump? Was it changed out at the same time? Start withe the engine. The front is North the passenger side East, back South the drive side West. Isolate where the coolant is coming from and leaking. Then locate what could be causing the leak. Park the Blazer and check which quadrant the coolant is leaking in. North? Water pump or return line. NE? radiator hose connecting to the radiator. Go from there. South East? Yep, the heater hoses.
