Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought a 2002 SLK 2002.  Cannot find why top will not work with local mechanic.  In a worse case senario what would repair cost and can it be fixed.  Cannot decide whether it would be best to return car.

You can manually "force" oppen it by pulling the steel wire lokated in the trunk.

more likely, one of 3 micro switches in the boot{£15 each} rather than a big fault
