Can I put P235 70R16 tires and rims on my Blazer to replace the original P235 70R15 tires that came with the vehicle?

I want to purchase new tires for my 2004 Jeep Liberty which I will keep as my daily driver.  It has P235 / 70R16 tires & rims and the tires are fairly new.  I want to put those tires and rims on my 2003 Blazer which I want to sell.  The existing Blazer tires are way shot and need to go before I can sell it.  I want to use the Blazer rims, for tires 235 / 70R15, and put the new tires I will purchase on the Blazer rims and install them on the Jeep.  Will all of this work?  The end results will be brand new tires on the Jeep although with the Blazer tire/rim sizes and fairly new tires and existing rims on the Jeep to go on the Blazer so I can sell it.  Can the community let me know if I can get this done safely and not risk a dangerous situation with either vehicle?  I really appreciate the help!!!  Thanks

make sure the wheels are interchangeable- you can measure the distance between the lug nuts- sounds pretty sketchy to me, though- trying to save money is always cool, but having wheels designed to fit the vehicle means there is no doubt- I can not recommend, on a public forum, putting Chevy wheels on a Jeep- or vice-versa

the lug pattern is different. The wheels wont bolt up. And the rims are different sizes so you cant swap the tires either

What about just switching the tires and keeping the rims that go with the vehicle? I have a dodge dakota I'm getting rid of and want to put those tires on my blazer. Wrong lug pattern so I'd have to swap out the tires and each keep the right rims. The dakota has 16" tires, the blazer 15's. Will this work?
