Overheating

I  have a 2003 Chevy  cavalier that is over heating, I
have changed the thermostat  but no change. No
h2o in the oil and it running good,suspect the water
pump, but it's a costly job any suggestions from
anyone  what it might be?

Could be a clogged radiator or cooling passages in engine block flush cooling system with a good cooling system flush. Also clean radiator coils with a garden hose and nozzle if coil fins are clogged with dirt and bugs will restrict air flow across coil.
