2001 F250  5.4l - do all 2001 F250 have a fuel pump driver module located
above the spare tire or are there models of this year/type that do not. I have

Not all Fords have a fuel pump driver. If you can't find it you probably don't have one.

Not in 01 06 - up. Grounding, relay, inertia switch that's in cab usually passenger side behind plastic kick panel or on firewall make sure the red button is pushed down inspect wiring and switch for melting, filter or failed pump. NOTE: TROUBLE SHOOTING FOR NO STARTS. 4.6 are known for injectors leaking when vehicle is shut off resulting in black smoke on start up misfire and smell of raw fuel.
