Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trying to replace carpet and need to remove seats.  Need to go and buy a hex socket to
remove seats.  I am wondering if it is metric.  My SAE set will not produce a match.
Pardon the silly question.  I will likely have to purchase a set of metric anyway.

I thought it was a silly question. I purchased the metric hex kit and while in the parking lot discovered it was a star afterall. Purchased a T50 and it was too small, went to another store, tried a T-60 which was too large. I found a kit with a T-55 in it but no single pieces, so I bought the kit. After dinner, I went to work in the shop, only to find that the 55 is too large. So it is not silly. Is it a specialty Ford tool?
