Question type: General

Hello All,

I'm looking to purchase a used 2003 Chevy Impala from a former txi cab driver. Tha car looks great outside and in, drives good, I had Diagnostics done on it and also had a CarFax check done everything check out with the Diagnostics nothing major was wrong but on the Car Fax report it stated "Maximum odometer reading has been met". Does anyone know what the maximum odometer reading is on a 2003 Impala?

newer odometers even digital will only display 6 digits plus the tenth mile digit so 7 total that would bring you a maximum of 999999.9 miles then it rolls over to zero but this does nto mean you have a new car

It means it has tons of miles on it, any car that has tons of mileage in It? I wouldn't purchase unless you plan to install new engine and tranny which is costly? Good luck with that.
