My stereo does not work or have any power. Everything else in the car works So I don't think it's the anti theft sysystem. It's a 2003 malibu. If I just put a new one in will It work. 4 Answers

The person I bought it from put in a new ignition that's why I thought it might be the anti theft system but everything else works

I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu, all electrical accessories work from the Heat/AC to the sunroof and heated seats. when I turn the key to start position I get nothing not even a click, also the service ESC light, the service Power Steering light, BRAKE light are on (no check engine though). Ive checked every fuse and relay, both plugs on the BCM and ECM there is no corrosion and has power to everything. When I check the Starter solenoid, with a test light, I get no juice in any key position. I am losing power somewhere but cant figure out where been searching for 3 weeks and don't know where to turn next, Please help..... 3 Answers
