Convertible top operation

Asked by Rodney Jun 20, 2024 at 09:44 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet SSR LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The top was operating properly until a hydraulic cylinder leaked all the fluid out.
I decided to replace all eight cylinders and had them rebuilt by top hydraulics in
Oregon. After replacing and making sure all cylinders have fluid I can't get it to
operate ?? Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas WHY ??

The SSR has very complicated electronics for the top. I watch a guy spend a week working on one at an independent shop I worked at. He finally gave up and sent it to the dealer. They couldn't fix it either. I wish you luck.
