Asked by Chris Nov 28, 2020 at 11:13 AM about the 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL Extended Cab 4WD

I can't believe how big of a piece of s*** ford has become with these 5.4 liter
engines and refuses to acknowledge it.  Is there a motor that is NOT a 5.4 liter
that can be put in this truck?  It's also 4x4 so that has to be considered as well.

What was the problem with the 5.4? You could swap in a V10 or a diesel but the expense and work will be considerable.
