Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got my 95 f350 7.3 e4od 4x4 on a trade and i drove it home and the
transmission was slipping. i got home and checked the fluid and it was low
so i put 2 quarts in it. it still continued to slip. the reverse stopped working
so i let it sit over night and everything worked in the morning so i drive it
about 15 miles and it started slipping really bad and wouldnt go. it goes in
reverse now but not drive. any ideas?

It was working fine at first and the reverse was messed up. but now the reverse works fine no matter how hot it is and the drive wont budge. Could it be my torque converter?

so should i take the transmission out before i order anything for it? or should i go ahead and order a rebuild kit and torque converter just in case?
