Ignition coil location

Asked by David May 20, 2021 at 05:18 PM about the 2006 Ford Fusion SEL V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 ford fusion with a 302 code. I bought
a ignition coil for cylinder 2. When I opened hood
to replace,  I only see for cylinders 4,5, and 6. Are
1,2,3 on the bottom and how do I get to them?
Thanks in advance

Intake manifold has to come off and #2 in the middle cylinder on the rear bank. If you aren't handy and mechanical I would leave this repair to a mechanic. Also I would change the coil and the spark plug for that cylinder.
