Gains for (performance) parts are based at the hp peak which, most of us dont normally drive at. You may find you get better top end and possibly a couple hundred more rpms of power before it starts to drop off but if it flows TOO freely you may lose a touch of throttle response and midrange torque, heres why : when it comes to airflow (intake AND exhaust), airflow velocity is everything!

But give it a week for your computer to adjust and hopefully it will sort itself out

Possibly but they're supposed to help power not hurt it. Lol. What kind of chip? What motor do you have in that?

Well with the chip gave tons lf power to my truck but, since I installed the new air filter high performance lost throtle I’m thinking if i have to wait until the computer accept it like you said it’s a 7.3 v8 diesel ford f250 1997
