Do they put GM motors in Ford explorer sport trac

Nope....No GM engines used at all in the Ford Explorer...Ford engines only, specifically these 2 for this model year: 4.0 L Cologne V6 or 4.6 L 16-valve Modular V8

that's a big nope, now there have been some foreign cars that have had chevy powerplants in them such as the isuzu hombre was basically an S10 pickup, but Ford likes to put their own engines in their vehicles

LMAO! I actually was talking to a mechanic when I was searching for an SUV...he said "Avoid the Ford Exploder"....never heard "Errorstar", though! That's some funny stuff!!
