First gear is sluggish in D, works fine in L1 and L2

Asked by Aaron Apr 05, 2020 at 11:13 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 trailblazer that I know already has a
bad 2-3 shift solenoid. Recently it began being
super sluggish in first gear, almost slipping, but if I
put it in L1 it drives fine. Any ideas?

Same exact year make but EXT model.. Having same issue.. any updates to provide? Other Q&A refer to plastic bushings or solenoids... my boyfriend mentioned all the same but also torque.. should be diagnosed tomorrow.. I’ll post if definitive diagnosis and/or repair complete.
