2003 trailblazer tranny problems

I just replaced the silonoids inside the tranny and it' will still
slip in the 3rd gear and not catch again until I go under 30
Mpr or start giving it gas repeatedly and then it'll
catch...plus it went into limp home mode

add a good trans additive...could just be a dirty/stuck valve body
