1990 f150 oil leak

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 1990 Ford F-150 2wd with a 5.0 and I can not get
the oil filter to stop leaking I have put a 1/2 dozen oil filters
all different brands on the truck the one I currently have on
the truck is a fram PH8A and it is also leaking where the
filter meets the engine block. I am stumped and have no
idea what to do to fix this issue or what might be causing
the problem. Anyone who's had this issue please help.
Thanks

Yes I've steam cleaned the entire engine ran my finger around the mounting surface and did not find any knocks or dings. I'm wondering if maybe the threads are not allowing it to mount up flush if this is the case is there a way to change out the threads on the block?

There is nothing that looks like that on my truck the piece on my truck looks like a piece of 3/4" theaded pipe coming out of the side of the engine block approximately 1 1/2" long and it is hollow in the center with no threads or any Allen fitting to tighten down? Does this adapter go somewhere in between the filter and the threads???
Is there an adapter of some sort between the block and the filter?
This is what mine looks like.
Your bung does not have the hex hole so you remove yours with a pipe wrench or channel locks. There is a small amount of damage to the lower right of the mating surface.
This is also a side view that adapter looks nothing like this that I can tell I may be wrong idk?
I just seen the nick when I zoomed on the picture not sure if that is causing it as it don't go all the way in how would I repair the nick as I believe it's part of the block?
The round part just below the threads is the threaded part of the bung in the photo I posted. I doubt that damage is the problem but you could fill it in with JB weld and then sand it down.
That is what they are sold for. Good luck and I hope this fixes things.
Thank you I will repost when the part arrives.
