why do my blinkers and brakes keep blowing fuses?

Asked by weirgor Jan 29, 2015 at 09:51 AM about the 1992 Ford F-150 XL Extended Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have been all over the rear of the 1992 f150 and even disconected the trailer light plug. I
can find no where that rodents have been chewing on wires. But as soon as I replace
either the brake fuse or the blinker fuse, I see a spark from behind the fuse box and the
fuse blows. What is wrong. Please advise me.

there is water in there some where the water will conduct electricity to over power the fuse causing it to blow

or a mouse got in there in the past few days and chewed a wire and it is shorting on itself
