Where is my starter located

the starter is located on the passanger side of the engine block lower side, towards the transmission bellhousing.
Follow the positive cable from the battery. It's bolted to the starter solenoid.
If those suggestions do not help. It looks like an old style two pound coffee can with a Red Bull can attached to the side. It's mounted underneath the engine parallel to the ground.
If you are contemplating changing it yourself do this first. Disconnect the battery cables first! Move them completely away from the battery. Failure to do so will result is a spark and light show in your face as soon as you touch the positive cable connection with a wrench and some metal protrusion under the car. When you jump in surprise, there may be some damage to your forehead as it impacts a dense object underneath.
