My 1994 F150 tail lights come on
after 3 minutes of being off and
when I turn the key and start it
everything goes back to normal
operation

When everything is working normally, do the tail lights stay on for a while after you exit the vehicle? Some newer vehicles have the headlights and tail lights remain on for a minute or two after leaving the vehicle. Without a wiring diagram it's hard to say what particular part defective. To save a bundle of time, get a color coded wiring diagram so you can check at relay points to determine the fault.

It acually turned out to be the brake light switch at pedal. Don't understand how it could of been that cause the brake lights pretty well turned on after 1 min after truck was turned off. Kinda wierd but that's what it was

No there's was no relay. When truck running brake lights went to normal operation but as soon as I turn truck off after one min light would go on
