I can hear window motor running but doesn't move would at first with a little help.

After removing door panel and speaker to look inside door I seen a lot of
rust on the large gear. WITHOUT power on I tried to move it manually.No
Good. I ended up drilling rivet out to remove gear and motor to test, When I
did this I felt the long gear break loose a little. I tested the motor by itself it
was working fine. I sprayed the the gears and the guide for the window with
the dollar general version og WD40 and worked it up and down by hand
until it moved freely. Just a note I wasn't sure what to back in first but riveted
the arm first then motor. Window still doesn't operate properly. Is there
another adjustment that I don't see.

The DC electric motor could be weak. Try this. Position the glass half way up. While your hands are clasped on both sides of the glass, and with someone pressing the "up" button try to move the window up. If you feel an assist by the motor, your motor could be going out - getting weak. Usually this happens on the driver's side door because that window is used most often. Since there was rust, lubricate all the pivot points on the mechanism and the track.
