My truck makes a Rattling noise when accelerating?

Asked by Guru3YHNQ Jun 30, 2020 at 12:48 PM about the 1994 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1994 Ford F-150 302, I have replaced
timing chain, O2 sensor, EGR (all ports were
clogged), water pump. My truck has 270k and
whenever I punch the throttle or have to
accelerate hard to go uphill I here a rattle that
seems to follow engine acceleration. If there is
no real load or use of force on motor it does
not make the noise. Ex. At idle or just driving
on flat surfaces. I’ve also noticed my oil gauge
when cold will be midway at normal but the
longer I drive the lower it gets all the way
down to the low line but still in the normal. I’m
going to attach a video of the noise if I can
and a few photos of my egr I replaced 2
months ago. https://youtu.be/ZeKcVlyCWdY
