I have a 1994 Ford F150 that runs for about 10 seconds then switches off. It won't start right back up, but wait about 2 minutes and it starts again only to repeat itself.

Invest in an inexpensive fuel pressure gauge and check with first with switch on, engine not running. Now check with engine running and see if the pressure drops right before it kills.
