How to fix speedometer and odometer on 1994 Ford F-150?

I just replaced the ecu on my 1994 Ford F 150 6 cylinder automatic and the
number 18 fuse blew and speedometer and odometer quit working. I replaced
the fuse and then it blew. I would appreciate any help I can get . Thanks

Obviously there is a short. To lengthy to explain here, but there is a video on the net showing how to trace a short on a particular circuit. If everything worked well before replacing the ECU, begin checking there.
