Why won't my horn work

my horn won't work off the switch I used a test light and
touched the wire on the switch that goes to the horn the
purple wire but I want to know if mu switch is bad of what

There are a few ways to do this. I assume you already know what wire is for what. The good thing about DC is you can use common ground and the wire you want to test to probe the switch. Black probe on good ground, red probe on metal tab of horn fuse. Press horn. If your meter beeps then your switch is good, but your horn is junk.... or have wire issues
