Locate the Air Filter housing. the MAF sensor is located right next to the air filter box. It has 2 "security" torx screws, which means you need a special tool to remove it. If you dont have the tool, you can use needle-nose vice grip pliers - clamp the pliers on the screw head and twist counter-clockwise. MAF sensors are expensive - they can easily be cleaned with some CRC MAF Cleaner. https://youtu.be/wrpMsBER6Yw

Why do you believe the sensor is defective? As Jon stated, they are expensive and delicate. Try cleaning it with the proper cleaner, following directions provided to the letter. Also, while at it, remove and clean the throttle body. A filthy throttle body can contribute to bad idle and performance.
