94’ Ford F-150 eddie bauer

Asked by Letty Jan 12, 2019 at 03:10 AM about the 1995 Ford F-150 Eddie Bauer LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Put new battery in truck. Started and drove
just fine to gas station 15 miles down the
road was on E so shut it off to fill it up. Went
to turn it back on and it wouldn’t start. No
clicking noise just a wan wan sound. Put in
new spark plugs, Cylinoid, starter fluid, fuel
pump and filter, and new starter truck still
makes the wan wan sound like it wants to
start but can’t. Was told it could be the
computer went into anti lock mode and
cause of the new battery and may need to go
to a dealership to get it flashed. It has power
windows and locks. So could be the
computer is there any way to bypass it??? I
don’t have a $150 to get it flashed at a
dealership

No real answer for you, but if you are concerned about cost it would be worth your while to simply ask some of your friends first of all (any in that circle with mechanical experience?) if they have any ideas. Also, how about asking for advice at one of your local parts houses. Anyway, good luck!!!
