1996 F-150 5.8L, Auto., 4X4, Standard Cab.

Question type: General

Cranks over fine but won't start sometimes. When I get in it in the morning and turn the
key on and wait 30 to 45 seconds it starts.Last time it wouldn't start we didn't have any
spark but1 hour later it started. Replaced fuel pressure regulator, Ignition coil and battery
(which was bad anyway). Any ideas? Distributor?

Could be anything. First things first. Get a fuel pressure tester, not expensive, then get the specks on the pump pressure. If the pressure is off it could be the pump.
