I have a 96 f150 5.0. It cranks but wont starts. Ive
replaced the wire harness and yes everything is
connected. Replaced the vaccuum lines one by
one. Wires and spark plugs. Coil. Crankshaft
position sensor. New battery. Still cranks but wont
start. Today after sitting awhile it started for a
moment then cut out and wouldnt start again. Its
got fresh gas today too. When cranking it back
fires but not right away. HELP!!!!!

check the voltage...and the amperage too~ ECU will actually "brown out" with reduced voltage and become unreliable~ so the black cable connecting to the block also ground the ignition system...if it's weak...or power weak, spark may become not as strong as it should ...so BEEF UP the power to the coil pack...where it's mounted~...possibly will bring the show back in service~
How do you reccomend doing that
Make sure ur getting fuel pressure to see if it's fuel related. If u got gas, do a compression check before replacing any other parts

Iif it started for a short time and quit its a fuel problem not ignition. Probably something simple like a dirty fuel filter. Change it, cheap fix.

Could posibly be a bad cps or O2 sensor. Use engine analyser free at any Autozone or Advance Auto Parts store. Code will tell you bad sensor.
Check your fuel pump relay ...I have a 91 Ford f150 ..the relay has a high side and low side ..my high side was bad so my truck would not stay on after 25 mph..less than$20 to check it out
I 96 Ford 5.0 gone down the road it back fired and went dead well not start
